Personal Portfolio has always been the easiest “genre” for me to shoot. I just think it’s so much easier to work with ONE adult person at a quiet studio, with the professional lighting equipment (too boring for me though, I love the challenges🤫)😬 Comparing to how I usually climb trees while entertaining kids 🌞
The struggle of portfolio sessions starts when it comes to editing, because I love everything to be perfect. I think too much of each millimeter of the photo. I want it to be perfect and I have to do “magazine editing”, which includes “frequency separation” method, and it’s taking forever (retouchers know the struggle).
Should notice though that by “personal portfolio” I meant only portfolios for professional models, that will be used for castings and model agencies. So yes, it will take at least 8 hours to process a portrait for a magazine (good portrait for a good magazine!), are you guys interested in how photos look before and after Photoshop?
I have lots of things to tell you, haha 😬
